ABOUT ME

I have always had a love for art. Through art I have been able to express myself and things that I love.When I was young I took many art classes where I was able to spend hours just drawing and painting. As I got older, I gained a love for photography. I loved the idea of capturing a moment in a photo. There are so many things that I try to achieve as a person in life which reflects on what I try to achieve as a artist and a student. I try to work on time management skills and organization which is

important as both an artist and a student. As a junior, I hope to end the school year on a good note, to keep getting good grades, and that I will get into one of my top school choices. When I am older, I want to be involved in the film industry. I am unsure of what I want to do in the industry yet, but I hope that the skills I have gained as an artist will help me.

One photographer that has influenced me is Richard Avedon . Avedon's work in fashion is all about movement, which I am very interested in. He is able to capture his models moving as well and their clothes and hair moving too. I find it very interesting that photographers are able to capture that, especially Avedon. Two personal influences are my parents. They have both done so much for my sister and I and I appreciate that. I want to be like them when I grow up.

In the last couple of years I have been very interested in photography. My work is very different but captures moments that I will be able to look back on. I have been working on different ways to take photographs. I sometimes center the objects in my photos and I have been trying not to do that as much. Viewers can see a variety of pieces I have been working on over the years. Some of these photos I did not do for school but during my free time and on trips. My love for photography keeps growing more and more each day. Art has always been a part of my life and always will be.
